Giacomo Ghermandi’s first victory in the TCR Eastern Europe series has helped propel the Italian racer up to 82nd in the Kumho TCR World Ranking, smashing into the top 100 with a 23-place climb this week.
MA:GP’s Viktor Andersson took part in a one-off outing in the series, which also helped move the Swedish racer up seven positions to 54th, while Martin Kadlečík continues his fast progression in the ranking. The up-and-coming Czech youngster moved up 30 positions this week to 125th in the ranking, closing fast on the top 100.
Race 1 winner and early championship leader Adam Kout maintains his place as the best-placed of the current drivers from the TCR Eastern Europe series, highly placed in 11th in the order, just a point away from the top ten.
