George Jaxon aiming for Gen 1 Cup title in TCR UK Return

George Jaxon will make his return to TCR UK for the 2025 season, as he targets the Gen 1 Cup title.

Jaxon will drive a Volkswagen Golf GTI DSG run by DW Racing; he had previously competed in the 2022 TCR UK Snetterton finale at the wheel of a CUPRA TCR before upgrading to a CUPRA Leon Competición the following season.

“I’m excited to be back on the TCR UK grid this year, and I thank my long-term sponsors for making this happen,” said Jaxon. “I’m very happy so far with the time that I have spent in the Volkswagen Golf. I know that it is a competitive car, and I managed to get a lot of seat time on the pre-season test day. This has given me a lot of confidence going into the new season as I get my campaign underway.”
