Gabriele Covini steps up to TCR Europe for the final events

TCR Italy’s regular Gabriele Covini is ready to expand his racing programme by stepping onto the international stage of TCR Europe.

Covini will drive a Hyundai Elantra N run by BRC Racing Team in the final two events on the European series, next week at the Red Bull Ring and on September 26/27 at Circuit de Barcelona- Catalunya.

“I'm thrilled to be able to join TCR Europe,” Covini commented “It won't be easy considering that both circuits and the tyres are new to me. I'm preparing the best I can to be ready to adapt quickly to all the new features, with the main goal of continuing to grow."

After a strong showing in the first part of TCR Italy’s season, culminating in the pole position at Imola, it was logical to finalize his participation in the final two TCR Europe events.
