Franco Girolami in TCR Italy with MM Motorsport

Franco Girolami, brother of WTCR driver Néstor, will make his Touring Car debut in Europe this weekend in the TCR Italy’s opener at Mugello. 
The 28-year-old Argentine has already built himself a reputation by winning three national titles in the 2011 Formula Renault Plus, 2012 TC2000 Junior Championship and 2018 Top Race V6.
Girolami will be at the wheel of a Honda Civic Type R run by MM Motorsport.

“I am extremely pleased with this opportunity, and I wish to thank my brother, Honda and the team for offering it to me. Néstor has come to Mugello to help me with his advice and technical expertise and I hope I will be able to get used to the car soon. My goal is to try and make the top-five and maybe stepping on the podium. It won’t be easy, but I will do my best,” said Girolami.
