Five races over two days at Jyllandsringen

04 September 2020

Nine weeks after the inaugural season kicked off, the TCR Denmark championship returns to the FDM Jyllandsringen for a double-header event.
The drivers will compete in five races over two days: two on Saturday and three on Sunday. There will be two Qualifying sessions, one on Saturday that will award points just like the races, and one on Sunday.
Kasper Jensen (Massive Motorsport, Honda Civic) defends his leadership in the standings after winning two from the three races held in the first event. Jensen has a nine-point margin over Nicolai Sylvest (LM Racing, Volkswagen Golf GTI), while third and fourth are Jakob Mathiassen (Insight Racing, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce) and Martin Andersen (Andersen Motorsport, Hyundai i30 N) with gaps of 10 and 11 points respectively.
The event will mark the first appearance of former national Touring Car champion Casper Elgaard in the current season; he will drive a Honda Civic Type R for TPR Motorsport.
TCR Europe vice-champion Julien Briché will make a one-off outing in a Peugeot 308 supported by Peugeot Sport.
