Fifth wins of the season for Mathilda Racing in VLN

The Mathilda Racing team claimed its fifth win of the season in the VLN as Matthias Wasel, Fredric Yerly and Roland Schmid drove their CUPRA car to victory in the TCR class during the series’ eighth round that took place Saturday on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
In the 4-hour 51. ADAC Barbarossapreis they completed 26 laps to finish in 29^th position overall out of 153 starters, beating the Møller Bil Motorsport Audi of Kenneth Østvold, Håkon Schjærin and Anders Lindstad that finished second, one lap behind.
The third competitor in the class, the Max Kruse Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI shared by Andreas Gülden, Benjamin Leuchter and Jasmin Preisig retired at the end of the seventh lap after posting the best lap time for the TCR class of 8:51.216.
The VLN will come to an end with round 9 on October 26^th.
