Estonian youngsters join TCR Ibérico at Estoril

Estonia–based ALM Motorsport has entered two Honda Civic Type R FK7 cars in the TCR Ibérico opening event that takes place this weekend at Estoril.
The team has entrusted the Japanese machines to a pair of very young drivers who are facing their debut in international competition: Robin Vaks and Mattias Vahtel.
A multiple Estonian karting champion, the 20-year-old Vaks has already proved to be competitive in a TCR car; in fact he was part of the team that won the class in last year’s Palanga 1006Km race that awarded the TCR Baltic Trophy.
Vahtel is only 16; his karting debut dates back to 2016 and last year he finished as runner up in the Estonian X-30 championship. The Portuguese event will mark his very first appearance in automobile racing.
