Eric Gené was the biggest mover in the top 50 of the ranking this week, with the TCR Spain points leader climbing 12 places to 12th after a strong weekend in the second event of the TCR Spain series at Aragón.
Leonel Pernía, race winner in the TCR South America season opener at Rosario, also continued to move up the standings, with the Argentine racer climbing ten spots to 34th, while Fabrício Pezzini, once top in the top five of the rankings, began to charge up again after his full-season return and win in Race 2, and is now up to 59th position.
One of the biggest movers was Estonia’s Sten Dorian Pirrimägi, with the TCR Spain Race 2 winner moving up 169 positions in one week and is now up to 182nd in the ranking despite only having four countable results in the ranking.
Meanwhile, Franco Girolami’s race win in the first round of the TCR European Endurance series at Mugello was enough to move him into a clear tenth place, a position he held jointly before with TCR Eastern Europe racer Adam Kout.
