Aurélien Comte, Carl Boardley, and Adam Kout were amongst the major movers in the Kumho TCR World Ranking this week after very strong weekends in their respective series.

Comte, now the joint-championship leader in the TCR Europe series, has moved up nine places to 16th in the ranking following his podium finish and competitive fight back to fifth in Race 2 at the Zolder circuit this weekend.

Last year’s TCR UK champion Carl Boardley has moved into the top 20 in the ranking after a pair of podium finishes at Snetterton, while double-race winner and now runaway points leader Adam Shepherd made a 16-place climb to 32nd overall.

Two second-place finishes for Czech driver Adam Kout has seen the TCR Eastern Europe front runner climb to 43rd, up ten spots, while Red Bull Ring Race 2 winner Attila Bucsi is catapulting up the ranking despite only six results of the 20 maximum on the board, moving up 76 positions to 201st.

The opening round of the SCCC took place at Bowmanville, Canada with a competitive field which saw Richard Boake claim two wins. In doing so the Audi driver moved up 26 positions to 110th and he’s close to being the first SCCC driver to break into the top 100.
