Competitor applications open for FIA TCR World Ranking Final

Competitor applications open for FIA TCR World Ranking Final

03 July 2025

Registration for the inaugural FIA TCR World Ranking Final that will take place 21/23 November at Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi, opened today, 1st July and will close on 30th October.

This unique event will gather drivers from the global TCR ecosystem for a season-ending showdown.

Two different formats of the event have been drafted, depending on the number of entries.

Up to 35 entries: Free Practice: 2 x 45 minutes; Qualifying: 1 x 30 minutes; Qualifying Race: 55 minutes + 1 lap, with mandatory pitstop; Main Race: 65 km.

36 to 60 entries, with drivers split in three groups: Free Practice: 1 x 45 minutes, per each group; Playoff Qualifying: 1 x 20 minutes, per each group; Playoff Races: 3 x 20 minutes + 1 lap with the best 30 Main Drivers advancing to the Final Qualifying; Final Qualifying: 30 minutes; Qualifying Race: 55 minutes + 1 lap, with mandatory pitstop; Main Race: 65 km.

Each competitor may enter one main driver per one car, accompanied by a guest driver. To be eligible, main drivers must appear in the Kumho TCR World Ranking as of 6 October 2025. Guest drivers can be any drivers who hold a minimum of FIA International C license.

Drivers competing full-time in the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour are not eligible to enter as main drivers, although they may be registered as guest drivers. A maximum of 60 main driver entries will be accepted for the event.

Guest drivers will only participate in the main Free Practice sessions and the Qualifying Race, but not in the Main Race.

The 2025 Kumho FIA TCR World Ranking Final title will be awarded to the main driver who finishes first in the Main Race.

Including guest drivers in the event helps to reduce participation costs while also allowing regular TCR World Tour drivers to add excitement to the competition, while keeping the title fight reserved for competitors from regional/national-level TCR series.
