Chetta Racing joins TCR South America

Argentina-based Chetta Racing announced its campaign in the TCR South America championship’s inaugural season with a Honda Civic Type R.
The team successfully completed the car’s shakedown at the Tazio Nuvolari circuit in Cervesina, Italy, with WTCR race winner Néstor Girolami at the wheel.

“I am very pleased to join TCR South America,” declared team principal Guillermo Chetta. “TCR it’s a new concept for our region and so we are anxiously waiting the delivery of the car to our country so that we can start working to prepare for the season. This has been another step forward within the successful relationship we have with Honda and we hope we will be able to repeat in TCR South America the same results we had in the national competitions.”
Chetta Racing’s Civic had been previously raced in Italy by MM Motorsport.
