Canadian TCC: the season kicks off in Trois-Rivières

12 August 2021

The Canadian Touring Car Championship's 2021 season kicks off in the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières. Competitors will take part in the traditional Friday night race under the lights, before concluding the weekend on Saturday morning.
GP3R has been a fixture on the CTCC calendar since 2008, and after it was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the drivers are excited to get back racing on the streets of Trois-Rivières.
The 2021 edition will feature some of the most talented drivers in Canadian touring car racing, including local icon Jocelyn Hébert on his debut in TCR with the Honda Civic run by 89 Racing Team.
Brothers Gary and Tom Kwok return to the championship in their M&S Racing Honda Civic cars, eager to reconquer the title that Gary won in 2019. The TCR field is completed by the Volkswagen Golf GTI entered by GT Racing for Louis-Philippe Montour.
