Lewis Brown and Silas Rytter have made the qualifying positions for the TCR World Ranking Final at the last possible opportunity, after sterling weekends for the two drivers in the latest rounds of the TCR Spain and TCR Denmark series respectively.
With eight of the TCR Denmark series’ competitors already set to make the first priority list by finishing in the top 45 of the KUMHO TCR World Ranking, Rytter has joined them after a strong final weekend of the season in the highly-competitive championship.
Brown, who regularly races in TCR Europe, made his TCR Spain debut with Comtoyou Racing at the weekend and stormed to pole, a race win, and a second place in the resurgent Spanish series at Estoril. As a consequence, he has moved himself into the qualifying spots for the Final, displacing Tobias Brink, with the TCR Scandinavia front-runner from last year slipping to the secondary list.
