The BF Motorsport-run Audi cars have dominated the Coppa Italia Turismo at Misano, where teammates Yuri Brigliadori and Fulvio Ferri took one race win apiece.
After setting the pole position beating Raffaele Gurrieri’s CUPRA by half-a-second, Brigliadori took a lights-to-flag win in Saturday’s Race 1, 2.8 seconds ahead of Koray Kamiloğlu’s Audi, while Gurrieri completed the podium.
Brigliadori’s victory gave his co-driver Ramazan Kaya the pole for Race 2 and the Turkish driver led at the start, but he was soon passed by Ferri in the second BF Motorsport Audi he shared with Giuseppe Bodega.
Later, Kaya lost two other places to Gurrieri and fellow countryman Kamiloğlu; Gurrieri tried his best to catch Ferri who kept him at bay and went to claim his second win of the year.
The second position helped Gurrieri to stretch his lead in the standings to 12 points over Adriano Visdomini and Kaya.
In the second division for DSG cars, Giacomo Orioli scored a double victory in his Audi; the Planet Motorsport driver has increased his leadership in the standings to 12 points ahead of Kamil Çat.
The series will return to Vallelunga on July 19/20.
