There were a number of key moves around the top 100 of the Kumho TCR World Ranking this week, with the TCR China Challenge, TCR Chinese Taipei, and Canada’s SCCC all taking place at the weekend.
Wu Yi Fan’s podium finish in the TCR China Challenge event at the Daqing circuit helped moved the TCR China main category regular up six places to 82nd in the ranking, while another victory for his 326 Racing Team colleague Liu Zhi Chen moved the fellow Audi driver up ten spots to 87th.
New SCCC drivers’ champion Richard Boake’s victory and podium at the Mosport Park circuit at Bowmanville saw the Blanchet Motorsport Audi star catapult into the top 100, moving up 16 positions this week to 95th.
Double race winner in the TCR Chinese Taipei series Gao Zilong climbed up 34 places to 149th this weekend, but a pair of second places for championship regular Shi Shiwei saw the Honda pilot maintain his position as the best-placed driver from the region, moving up to joint-99th in the ranking.
