Will Powell joins TCR UK grid for 2024 with Sport 77

Will Powell became the first driver to be confirmed for the 2024 TCR UK at the wheel of a Honda Civic Type R FK7 run under the Sport 77 team banner.

The new team has joined forces with Bert Taylor’s Taylor Racing Developments (TRD). and JAS Motorsport who are integral partners in the new operation.

Powell and Sport 77 are working closely with JAS Motorsport, with talks already underway to bring the newer FL5 model back to the championship.

“It’s great to be able to confirm my entry with the Civic FK7 for the 2024 season and a new team identity with Sport 77. TCR UK as championship has made big strides forward in recent seasons and I’m ready to take part in what looks like its most competitive season so far,” explained Powell.
