Bennani and Taoufik join Sébastien Loeb Racing for TCR Europe

After announcing a few weeks ago its return to Touring Car competition, Sébastien Loeb Racing completed its line-up for the TCR Europe campaign with Mehdi Bennani and Sami Taoufik.
Bennani, the reigning European champion returns to the French team for which he raced throughout several seasons in WTCR.
Bennani and Taoufik join Niels Langeveld and Felice Jelmini to drive the team’s four brand-new Hyundai Elantra N TCR cars.

"Sami is like my little brother and I am very happy to share this new adventure with him. We are very proud to represent Morocco on the international motorsport scene and I know that with Sébastien Loeb Racing we are bounded for a very successful season!" said Bennani.

A test session this week, under the very eyes of team boss Sébastien Loeb, gave the four drivers the opportunity to get used to their new cars and work with the SLR crew.
It was also the opportunity to fine-tune the Hyundai Elantra N before the season kicks off next week at the Slovakia Ring.
