Chilean driver Benjamín Hites will make his TCR debut in the next TCR South America event at El Pinar’s Autódromo Victor Borrat Fabini.
Hites, who will replace Genaro Rasetto in one of the four Peugeot 308 cars run by PMO, has built a solid reputation in endurance racing claiming the 2022 title in the GT Open series and winning the Silver Class in the 2023 Spa 24 hours.
“It’s a nice opportunity having been invited to race in the Peugeot, especially because I have no experience in driving TCR cars. It will be a weekend in which I will face a lot of things I don’t know, but I’m confident. I have a week to prepare that I will use to train on the simulator and study the regulations. I want to be ready, because I will race against the best drivers of South America,” said Hites.
