Barrichello father and son tested in TCR cars at Velocitta

Former Formula 1 race winner Rubens Barrichello and his son Eduardo have completed their first test in TCR cars last weekend at Velocitta.

They had been invited to attend the TCR South America and TCR Brasil joint event and PMO Motorsport offered them the opportunity to make a test at the wheel of the team’s Lynk & Co 03 cars.

“They asked us: would you like to drive a TCR? Of course!” said Eduardo.

“I had some ideas about how to handle a front-wheel drive from my experience in the Argentine TC 2000, but it was very interesting to test the TCR,” commented Rubens.

Both, Rubens and Eduardo are committed to race in the Brazilian Stock Car series.

“The TCR is very different from the Stock Car and this test was a learning curve for us, but I liked it a lot because it’s a very challenging car. We are here with the idea of attracting some sponsors to join the series in future,” Eduardo concluded.
