TCR Italy championship rivals Nicola Baldan and Nicolas Taylor have both moved up in this week’s Kumho TCR World Ranking following a successful weekend at Misano. The TCR Italy series final race winner and newly-crowned two-time champion Taylor moved up to 23rd in the ranking, but the Canadian was usurped by Baldan, with the 2017 champion moving up five spots to 22nd, finishing the year one place ahead of him.
Meanwhile, after a podium finish in the season finale of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Denis Dupont moved up into the top 50 for the first time, with the Montreal-based Belgian racer up 13 places to 49th, while his Bryan Herta Autosport co-driver Preston Brown finished the year a well-placed 53rd.
