Ayrton Chorne joins Squadra Martino for TCR South America

Squadra Martino announced the signing up of Ayrton Chorne for the team’s campaign in the inaugural season of the TCR South America championship.
Chorne who is only 16-year-old, will join his Argentine countryman José Manuel Sapag at the wheel of one of the team’s Honda Civic Type R cars.
After a successful career in karting, Chorne moved to car racing in 2020, finishing seventh in the Argentine Formula 4 and claiming a podium result on his debut in the Argentine Formula Renault.
He is currently competing in the TCR2000 championship, driving a Ford Focus for Escudería Fela and lies 17thin the standings.
