Anna Inotsume into the top 80 after title-winning weekend

Anna Inotsume has broken into the top 80 positions of the KUMHO TCR World Ranking following a strong weekend at Fuji, taking the Saturday Series title with a victory on the first day, then lining up her shot at the Sunday Series title with second place on day two in her Dome Racing Honda Civic.

Already the top female driver in the ranking, Inotsume has now climbed up five places to break back into the top 80 – where she was before her troubled weekend at Motegi, and is now in 77th, just 18 places away from being the top Japanese driver in the ranking.

A strong second weekend for Takeshi Matsumoto-Suehiro in the Birth Racing Project CUPRA Leon, scoring his third victory from four races, saw him rank as one of the top climbers this week, shooting up 103 places to 336th in the ranking.

Meanwhile, newly-crowned TC France champion Stéphane Ventaja has moved up to 155th following two victories in a bumper ten-car TCR class in the series at Paul Ricard, with extra points on offer due to the extended grid.
