Alex Ley joins BRC Racing Team for TCR Italy campaign

Alex Ley returns to TCR Italy having joined BRC Racing Team for driving a Hyundai Elantra N alongside Gabriele Covini.

The British driver made his Italian debut last year, also at the wheel of an Elantra although it was run by Target Competition and won at Misano on his very first race.

“I’m really excited to start racing with BRC Racing Team!” said Ley. “I tested with them two years ago as a Hyundai Junior driver, it’s great to finally have a championship season together! I’m really looking forward to this year, the goal is to do better than 2024 and continue to improve as a driver.”

Team principal Gabriele Rizzo commented: “TCR Italy is one of the most competitive national TCR championships and we are pleased to be able to field two cars with two young drivers. We want to offer them the best technical package, based on the Elantra N and the great experience the team has gained in the TCR World Tour.”
