Adam Shepherd has made the switch to Capture Motorsport ahead of the new TCR UK season; he will join the already announced Will Beech and Greg Saunders in a third CUPRA Leon Competición.
Having led the Drivers’ championship during the first half of last year, Shepherd remained in title contention until he was plagued by a recurrent fuelling issue, ending the year in fifth place in the standings.
Already familiar with the CUPRA that he drove to four wins last season, the Essex-based driver is eager to get back on track and get racing again.
“It was a late decision to be racing again this year, but we are very much looking forward to 2025 and working with Capture Motorsport. We are aiming to take the overall TCR UK title with as many wins and pole positions as possible. I’d like to say a big thanks to Capture Motorsport and the opportunity given to work together. I’m confident we will have a good season and will be working hard to bring the team, cars and drivers forwards and up to the front. I’d also like to thank Area Motorsport for the help over the last few years and the success we had together.”
