A test in the new Honda Civic TCR for the Civic Cup champion

JAS Motorsport, celebrating a quarter of a century as a Honda Racing partner, announced a prize for the champion of the 2023 Milltek Sport Civic Cup. This year’s title winner will be awarded a test drive in Italy in the newest global touring car Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR, designed and built by JAS.
The winner will be invited to spend two days with JAS Motorsport in Italy during the winter of 2023-24.
Day One will involve a visit to the company’s headquarters in Arluno, near Milan, with a tour of the Civic Type R TCR production facility followed by a half-day in JAS’s state-of-the-art race simulator. The second day will be spent on track, at the wheel of the Civic Type R FL5 TCR.
Mads Fischer, JAS Motorsport TCR Project Leader, said: “I saw the Civic Cup first-hand when I attended the TCR UK opening round at Snetterton and was really impressed with what I saw, both in terms of the number of cars and the quality of the racing. It’s exactly the kind of place where the next stars of touring car racing will begin to stand out. As builders of the Honda Civic Type R TCR, we have the unique opportunity to introduce the champion to the most advanced and highest-performance Civic touring car anywhere in the world to show them that they can move up the racing ladder with Honda.”

This prize provides the 2023 champion with the opportunity to test the Honda Civic Type R TCR and confirms the Civic Cup’s place as an official feeder Series to TCR UK.”
