A new CUPRA for Petr Čížek in TCR Eastern Europe

Petr Čížek, driver and co-manager of Expres Auto Racing team, will switch to a new CUPRA Leon VZ for the TCR Eastern Europe’s season.

Čížek, who co-manages the team with Vít Smejkal, had been driving a Cupra Leon Competición since 2020 and after four seasons of racing in the series, with a best place third in the 2022 Drivers’ championship, he felt it was time for a change.
Čížek said: “The new CUPRA is nearly identical to the previous model, with the main difference being a facelift that isn’t immediately noticeable. We are now ready to start the preparation for the season and we will be testing in Most and possibly at other circuits.”

The team is considering entering more than two cars in TCR Eastern Europe and occasional participations in other TCR series.
