Cameron returns to TCR Australia with Garry Rogers Motorsport

30 January 2023

TCR Australia race winner Aaron Cameron will return to Garry Rogers Motorsport for the 2023 season.

Cameron won three races on his way to eighth in the standings last year and also enjoyed a foray overseas where he represented Team Australia at the FIA Motorsport Games in a Team Clairet Sport Peugeot 308 TCR.

The Victorian has been a frontrunner since the inaugural season of TCR Australia in 2019 when he scored the Rookie of the Year award in a Melbourne Performance Centre-prepared Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR before transferring to Garry Rogers Motorsport and Peugeot in 2020. Cameron finished third in 2021 after a win and five podiums during the season.

“TCR have a new tyre compound that I’ll need to get used to over the first couple of rounds. The new World Ranking for TCR is a cool incentive for the end of the year if you can finish near the top and then maybe go on to the World Final. It won’t be a focus during the year, it’s based off results so we’ll just do the best we can as always and see where it places us by the end,” said Cameron.
